Slacker status

So being pregnant in the summer is hard really hard, I mean I did it with my first child to but either this summer has been hotter or the second child is harder on you!! So just to post a few looks I've put together.

Just a few looks! The closer I get the harder it is to find something to wear! I'm so ready to be done and the baby!! Only 10 more weeks left crossing my fingers for a little sooner!!

Playing catch up!

Been super busy moving into a new place! Pregnancy has been getting the best of me lately and I've got this wonderful cold that I can do nothing about!!! I've found a couple looks I like lately but the further a long I am the more frustrating it is and the more appealing those running shorts seem!!
Look one I bought this maternity dress awhile ago but I love it! Its the most comfortable thing to wear and I will definitely use it after baby!







Look 2 simple shorts but I love this top and vest!!




Look 3 didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it to, going to use a different top next time but I was comfortable and that's all that matters!! Maxi skirts are a pregnancy favorite!




And here are a couple pictures of my mini fashionista! The last one is just to cute and she joined the in crowd and had a frosty in a waffle cone!!!

Mother's day weekend!!

You know that feeling when everything is all planned out and things are suppose to go perfect? Yeah.... me either!! Despite all the crazy hectic things that happened it was a amazing weekend and wouldn't have asked for anything else!

Saturday my mom and I were suppose to go in town just us girls get lunch and do some shopping while Lorelai babysat my dad! ;) Our plans got changed when my grandpa called my mom and told her he would be down for a visit because he was in town (he lives 6 hours away) I was OK with plans getting changed for that except for the fact that he never showed up :( The whole day wasn't a loss tho I made us dinner and we watched a chick flick!




Sunday was so busy it just flew by! Lorelai reminded me first thing in the morning what a joy it is to be a mommy when she got ahold of my favorite eye shadow and broke it into powder form all over my white rug!!! Her kisses and apology made it better tho! Plus she made my day by telling me almost every 5 minutes that I looked beautiful it just melted my heart!









I love this day for many reasons , my amazing mom who is my best friend and for being able to celebrate the day with her because of my precious little girl and my little one on the way!! I hope all you mommies out there had a wonderful day:)

Anyone else?

Does anyone else buy a new dress/ outfit for a special occasion or holidays?! I don't know what started it (probably my mom!!!) really I'll use any excuse to shop tho! Mother's day is a acceptable reason for a new dress, right?! I'm really excited about this dress, it's a high low dress that looks good with a bump! Even better it was a Tj Maxx so it was super affordable! I will post the complete look on Sunday :)

I was looking my spring board on pinterest for some outfit ideas and came across this little gem!




My take is a little different, it was pretty warm here today so I used my shorter black dress! I wish my denim shirt was a real tie one it would of made it a little cooler! I might pick one up next time I see it because this look is absolutely one of my favorites! I love wearing dresses while I'm pregnant because they are so easy!

Lorelai always watches when I "pose" (or lack there of) so today she decided she was going to model for me :)




I just about died when I saw these! Its just to cute!!

I finally found a couple of shirts that I really like that works with a bump! This one is defiantly a favorite!








I'm so glad its getting warmer out and the weather has been beautiful lately, its getting me excited for picnics and hiking!! Hope its here to stay this time!!

What to do?!!

I don't know what I'm going to do soon! I refuse to buy maternity clothing unless its really cute and I can see myself wearing it after! So I try to look for clothing that will work with a bump but this season just isn't happening for me, when did belly shirts come back?! so hopefully I keep fitting in my regular clothes!! Because if I go in one more store and only find belly shirts I may just throw a tantrum like my two year old did today which I mind you makes it ten times harder to shop!




I'm 22 weeks I've almost been pregnant for half a year, that's crazy when you think about it! where has time gone?

My favorite things!

Baby doctor appointments!! Whether its a ultrasound or just getting to hear his little heartbeat its amazing and makes me smile! Another thing that's hit my favorite list is maxi skirts, they are so comfortable yet so pretty!





Smoothies have been a diet savor lately! If I'm in need of something sweet or having a craving for a peanut butter milkshake I just make myself a smoothie! This one was today's breakfast and I've found if I freeze the fruit I don't need ice and it comes out so thick and creamy!!


This favorite is for my little girl! Purple and butterflies, put those two together and I don't think she will ever let me take this hair pretty out!



I very seldom get time to do my nails but now that Lorelai is getting older she wants me to do hers so we now have mother daughter manicures at home!! She wouldn't let me get a picture of hers!

Sunday fun day

After church we had a pot luck and my little girl just amazes me at how much she eats! I have no clue where she puts it all either! Her and her little friend there had a blast having a "lunch date" and getting extra time to play! Mommy smashed a cupcake in her face so of course we had a cupcake war :)






It is a really good feeling getting out a pair of jeans from last year and still being able to wear them button and zipped 21 weeks pregnant! Size 4 might I add, that is definitely a self confidence boost when your pregnant lol! I wish this weather would stop teasing us tho!!

80 to 40 in 10 seconds flat!

OK not 10 seconds but it went from beautiful sunshine and 80 degree weather to 40 degrees and rain the next day!! That's our weather for ya! But I did finally get to wear my new shirt that has been tucked in its bag since I got it! I'm so sad that I can't find these skirts this season they are seriously the most comfortable skirt I've worn, the material feels like a yoga pant!
















I'm officially over half way through my pregnancy, its exiting and nerve racking at the same time!!! Shopping for a boy is new to me and definitely more difficult! When I go in for Lorelai it's like I want (and she's tries to get) one of everything in her section! For boys you really have to search for those really cute outfits!! I couldn't resist these cute little booties tj maxx had and Lorelai picked out the Superman ones along with a matching onsie its so cute she loves to help get things for her little brother!

Bump ahead

I love the weekends! Its family time and that's always my favorite!! This weather is getting me really excited for bon fires and using the grill more!! Nothing like sitting around the campfire eating a smore after a good hamburger on the grill!! It's even been warm enough for skirts, shorts and sandals I'll definitely take that!! I was so excited to wear this outfit when I got it, the bonus part it was all on clearance! I'm going to have to make another trip back to target for more of these t-shirts because they are super soft and pretty but so comfortable!






I wanted to get a picture of Lorelai's outfit she had on but the little stinker wouldn't let me!! I did get one of her adorable play outfit , there is something about little bicycle shorts and a blue jean jacket and sneakers!





I have to share this cookie I found because it is unbelievably good! It's gluten and dairy free but you would never know unless you read it! There's still a lot of calories and sugar in it but the ingredients are super healthy so I know I
I'm giving my body and my baby something good that's still a guilty pleasure!!

One of my pinterest pins that's pretty darn close to my outfit! This top is so comfortable it's really light and the color is fun! I'm so happy the weather is getting warmer here so I can put together some of the looks from my spring/summer board!








A little bit of summer came to us so Lorelai and I took full advantage! We played outside all day and even took a walk!! Nothing is as refreshing than cucumber water! We drank so much of it today! We ended the day with shoe shopping how much better can it get! I love days like these!
